Palle St Cyer is een onafhankelijk studio voor merkidentiteit, motion en webdesign in Saskatchewan, Canada, die werkt met klanten in heel Canada en wereldwijd. Drie disciplines, gehouden aan één standaard. Merkidentiteit: positionering en naamgevingsrichting, woordmerken, type- en kleursystemen, en de schriftelijke richtlijnen die ze intact houden. Motion en interactief: broadcast- en stream-pakketten, stingers en titels, 3D- en look-ontwikkeling. Webervaringen: ontwerp, front-end build en documentatie waar de erfgenaam van de site mee kan werken. De studio is één persoon, en dat is het punt. Er is geen accountlaag en geen interne reviewronde, dus oordelen worden geveld en herzien terwijl het werk vordert in plaats van op de volgende geplande vergadering. Een gericht merk en de productiedossiers kunnen binnen een week worden voltooid; een volledige identiteit met positionering en richtlijnen duurt meestal een paar weken, en een kleine website in vijf werkdagen nadat de richting is overeengekomen. Het werk omvat e-sports en gaming, waaronder SoaR Gaming, UKCS en The Weekly Respawn, naast bedrijven, klinieken en ambachten uit Saskatchewan zoals SaskTaxSales, Horizons Cardiopulmonary, Community Moto en Bro's Tows, en productmerken zoals JellyLens en Printspo. Elke opdracht eindigt met productierijpe bestanden in de formaten die uw team en leveranciers daadwerkelijk openen, georganiseerd en benoemd, plus schriftelijke regels voor afstand, grootte, kleur en misbruik, zodat een ontwerper die u over drie jaar inhuurt de identiteit koud kan oppakken. Beschrijving Everything a brand is made of before it is made into anything. It starts as an argument about what the company is claiming and who it is claiming it against, and ends as production files somebody else can use without asking. A typical engagement covers positioning and naming direction, the primary mark and its variants, type and colour systems, and the written guidelines that keep them intact. How much of that you need varies, and I will say which parts your project actually calls for before either of us spends time on a proposal. The studio is one person, so there is no account layer and no internal review round. Judgements get made and revised while the work is in progress rather than at the next scheduled meeting. A focused mark and its production files can be done inside a week; a full identity is usually a couple of weeks. Title sequences and stingers, broadcast and stream packages, lower thirds and score graphics, 3D and look development, and the social cutdowns the same assets have to survive being reduced to. A package is different from a video. One recent weekly show ran from a single asset set, which meant the producer could put next week together without commissioning anything. A single piece is also possible and often right. Where there is a design system behind it, the rules come too: spacing, type scale, colour roles and component behaviour, so somebody adding a page next year adds one that matches. The test is the same one I hold identity work to. A developer you hire three years from now should be able to pick it up cold.
