Project gemaakt voor GIGANT in de Dranken industrie voor een B2C publiek in 2022.Hailing from Adinkerke on the French/Belgian border, Gigant made its debut on the world’s brewing stage this year- with striking design, strategy, branding, and rollout by Zware Jongens. ‘It’s Belgian. It’s beer. It’s great.’ A straight-talking slogan taken from the heart of the original concept. As soon as Zware Jongens began the project with client Kanaal One to launch a new beer, their vision was for something timeless, positive, and clean-cut. Little did they know that their conception and development of Gigant would lead to a cleanup at the 2021 World Beer Awards—taking home seven silver medals across categories of ‘Label Design’, ‘New Launch’, and ‘Best Bottle Range’, amongst others. The beers themselves also won taste awards, with Apéro Cult awarded a silver medal, and Yellow Stone receiving gold... Project gemaakt voor Hons in de Kleding & Accessoires industrie voor een B2C publiek in 2022.Light, bright, dynamic, and serene: Our concept & design for independent optician Optiek Hons proves that there is still unexplored terrain in the field.Through beautiful mirror panelling, clever grid-design, select materialisation, and a heightened consideration for how to enhance the experience of visiting the optician – the result presents an all-new vision for retail in the optical field.We envisioned a new experience for going to the optician, creating a sanctuary for the clients. Revealing many unexplored potentials of the field’s relation to space and its use along the way, the new Optiek Hons store contemplates the questions of how we see ourselves, and how others see us.Accompanying the physical space is a new brand identity, reflecting this same duality of ‘to see and be seen’ by utilizing multiple perspectives in photography and introducing a fresh typeface that takes inspiration from eye tests.
